I set my intention

Do people even blog anymore?  In August of 2006 I started law school in New York City. It was huge. My husband and I - barely married a year - decided I'd go ahead and move from Stockholm to New York. He eventually joined me. I wrote a blog "a l'anvers" as an outlet for my experience during those years. It was for me, for my family. My son was born in 2009 and I stoped writing. So much has happened since. He is now turning 13. I have a daughter soon to be 6. So much has happened. My mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2019. Months later, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Chemotherapy. Immunotherapy. Seemingly endless rounds of it. Needles. Lots of Needles. Surgeries. Traveled through many tunnels. Radiation. Bodies battered, bruised, disfigured, scared. Exhausted. Unrecognizable.
